1. Texas Holdem

Players
Up to 9 players are allowed to play at one table.

Betting structure
Texas Holdem is played with two blinds, a small blind and a big blind. A blind is a forced bet that two players have to post before the initial cards are dealt. The betting structures available for Texas Holdem are Limit, Pot-Limit and No-Limit.

The play
  1. The blinds are posted by the two players to the left of the dealer. The dealer is indicated by a round white button with the letter ”D” in front of the player. The dealer button moves clockwise around the table after each hand.
  2. Each player is dealt two cards face down (”pocket cards”). These cards can only be seen by the player that receives them.
  3. The first round of betting starts with the player to the left of the big blind.
  4. Three community cards (”the flop”) are placed face up in the centre of the table. These cards can be used by all players, together with the pocket cards, to combine a hand.
  5. The second round of betting starts with the player to the left of the dealer.
  6. A fourth community card (“the turn”) is placed in the centre of the table.
  7. The third round of betting starts with the player to the left of the dealer.
  8. A fifth and last community card (“the river”) is placed in the centre of the table.
  9. The last round of betting starts with the player to the left of the dealer.
  10. Showdown – The player with the best hand wins the pot. Each player combines the five community cards and their two pocket cards to create the best five card hand. If two or more players have the best hand they will split the pot.
